Homogenization and Trends Analysis of Monthly Precipitation Series in the Fez-Meknes Region, Morocco

High quality and long-term precipitation data are required to study the variability trends of rainfall impact climate change. In developing countries like Morocco, collected from various weather stations faces numerous obstacles. This paper presents methods for collecting, correcting, reconstructing, homogenizing series Morocco’s Fez-Meknes region 1961 2019. Data national specialized agencies based on 83 rain gauge was processed through an algorithm specially designed homogenization climatic (Climatol). We applied Mann-Kendall test Sen’s slope estimator raw homogenized calculate trend magnitudes significance.
